"Why Don't More Law Schools Teach Reproductive Rights Classes?"

Asks Alexandra Harwin over at Slate's XXfactor. What a phony issue!

The subject is taught as part of Constitutional Law, which virtually every law student takes. In the Constitutional Law casebooks I've seen, it's the main subtopic under the Due Process Clause. Yes, a lawprof might decide to offer an upper-level seminar concentrating on reproductive rights, but the absence of a course like that scarcely means students walk away from law school without studying the key cases on birth control and abortion.

It would make more sense to complain about how much time is spent in Constitutional Law trying to comb through the multiple discordant opinions in these cases, considering the limited usefulness of the enlightenment to be derived.

Voices of support and solidarity came from Western Shoshone in Nevada and from Santiago, Chile, China, South Africa, New Zealand, Spain and Romania. On Facebook, it was "liked" more than 1,000 times and shared more than 670 times.

Threshold means an entrance or door way. Threshold (door frame) for us Indians has lot of significance. Especially the threshold of main door. In olden days, houses of rich and royalty or those houses which were very big, temples and forts had huge doors and huge thresholds ie., the main doors leading into the house. I remember in my child hood, all the houses had thresholds (the main one) that were one foot wide and one foot high at the bottom. Even the rooms inside the house had thresholds but were in smaller size.The doors and thresholds were generally made of fine quality teak wood.

Decorating the upper portion of the doorways with torans, I am already covering that under the head "Torans". Here I am talking about the bottom portion of the door ways. Here after when I mention threshold, it refers to the bottom portion of the door frame. This is known as Chaukhat in Hindi and Gadapa in Telugu.

Libya: Stockpiles Of Chemical Weapons Found -- The Telegraph

Chemical weapons have been found in Libya by National Transitional Council forces, a representative of the movement that ousted the late Muammar Gaddafi has said.

The NTC said the chemical warheads had been secured and would be made safe by experts.

"They are from the Gaddafi era and are under guard, until they can be handed over," an NTC representative said at a meeting between the council and NATO representatives in Qatar.

She says after what all I said to u tht day. He says so u r talking about that day. (He is always in look out reasons blame his wife..I hate his attitude towards Sidhi..) but why u need to send this. RIcha says she was feeling bad as she brought his past wounds back. Kunal looks irks but Richa tries to justify herself saying she did it for his good. but he says she does not need to do anything for him. Richa says its not necessary that they need to be enemies whole life. She says she wants to say sorry so sent Pastha, but u know if he thought anything else about you what I would have done.

Video: Flying Sphere-Shaped Drone Wows Crowds In Tokyo -- Popular Science

We got our first look at Japan's Defense Ministry's spherical flying machine earlier this year, but at a recent technology expo in Tokyo the hovering ball got the full coming-out treatment, complete with public demos eliciting "ooohs" and "aaaahs." The video below shows the drone doing everything it was designed to do: zipping around omnidirectionally, rolling across the floor, and staying aloft even when it strikes--or is struck by--an obstacle.

My Comment: Personal confession ... I am wowed by this demonstration. Science fiction is now reality. Expect this drone .... or sometime like it .... become standard issue (budgets permitting) for the military in a few years.

At Occupy Wall Street, "children are becoming an increasing presence..."

The NYT paints a pretty picture of the practice of taking little kids to protests. I think it's a terrible idea to bring children. I wouldn't expose a child to the various health hazards (including loud noise), and I don't think it's right to use children as props. If the child isn't old enough to understand what is going on and to choose to go, it's exploitation. Now, I know the parents who spoke to the Times portrayed themselves as teaching their children about the protest, but why do you have to go down there in person to talk about the various political and economic issues? Why overwhelm a child with crowds and passionate adult expression? Are you really developing the child's mind? Or are these justifications you've made up after you've decided, for your own reasons, to drag your child along to something that's important to you?

The epi starts with Dutta buying some breads (i dnt know what they are actually…not much good at mumbai street foods…) n going to eat when he hears some women talking about karva chauth…n decides to keep the vrath too…

Kishore asks Kala about her changed behavior…Kala tells him to trust her n this time she's really changed…Kishore gets happy n goes to do some puja promising her to break her vrath in evening…

After Kishore gone Suds comes n sees Kala eating apple n asks about the plan…Kala replies she's trying to gain trust of Dutta's loyal peoples…this drama will go on until she thinks necessary…

In the evening whole PN is dressed up…Kala n Leela making puja preparations n Kishore, Suds n AS discussing karva chauth…AS prays for TaSha's return…

Baaji is doing preparation for puja…Roops calls him n says this night is so cute…Baaji remarks after so many days u used this word…Roops tries to tell Baaji about her feelings…but Baaji doen't understand anything…Leela comes n takes Roops with her… (the scene was very cute…only good thing about the whole epi) …

Nurse brings the doc n she scolds Naku for not eating…Naku tells her she has kept the vrath…n will eat after breaking the vrath only…n says Bappa will do something for her…

AS calls Dutta…Dutta tells her about the probs he's facing n about his vrath…AS informs him about Kala's changed behavior…n asks him to bring Nak [...]

Moammar Kadafi's Family Reportedly Will Sue NATO -- L.A. Times

The family of deceased Libyan dictator Moammar Kadafi reportedly plans to file a war-crimes complaint against NATO for the role they believe the international military alliance played in the former leader's death, a lawyer for the family told Agence France-Presse news service.

Marcel Ceccaldi, a French lawyer who previously worked for Kadafi's regime and now represents his family, told AFP on Wednesday that the complaint would be filed with the International Criminal Court in the Hague because the family believes a NATO strike on Kadafi's convoy led directly to his death.
